DAILY ACTIVITIES
Indoor Bowls
During September of 2012 the indoor bowls area was totally re-furbished at a cost of £50,000. Sport England, via their Inspired Facilities fund, granted the Arena £41,200 towards the improvements. The completed works has seen the bowls surface and underlay replaced with new by Greenguage, all new carpets fitted around the bowls area and a mural painted across one of the walls, plus decorating throughout.
The indoor bowls area now ranks amongst the best in the county with a great new feel and atmosphere.
The seven rinks are available for hire from 9am through to 10.30pm Monday to Friday and from 10am to 4.30pm Saturday and Sundays at a cost of only £1.70 per player per hour
Indoor Bowls Coaching
Each and every Wednesday, coaching sessions are held for all at a cost of £1 per person, with new up to date bowls and shoes provided. Sessions commence at 7pm through to 8.30pm and are led by Christine Hopkinson.
Snooker
The Arena has seven quality tables and currently hosts four teams in the local league Worksop & District Snooker League, including a Junior team. The tables are available for hire from 9am through to 10.30pm Monday to Friday and from 10am to 4.30pm Saturday and Sundays at a cost of £4 per hour.
Every Saturday between 1pm through to 5pm the Arena hosts our Junior Snooker Academy where budding future Ronnie O'Sullivan's can hone their skillls under the tutilage of coaches Darren Presgrave and Steve Mallender
Main Hall
The Main Hall is a facility that is available for hire on a daily basis. Many sports are played in the Main Hall including football, netball, table tennis, tennis, badminton and athletics. Plus fitness sessions and structured activities for people with disabilities and older people.
Blast: The "Blast" sessions is a day of inclsuive sports and focuses on the users specific needs and interests. The sessions are run on a Wednesday 10-3 at the small cost of £5 which includes a meal consisting of a sandwich filling and chips or healthy option upon request. The sessions include all sports ranging from football and kwik cricket right through to snooker, bowls and use of the Arena's gym facillity.

Gym
The popular gym consists of two Technogym treadmills and bikes, plus two Concept 2 rowing machines and nine pieces of Technogym's Easy Line circuit.Come on down for your FREE induction and then pay us ONLY £1.50 per visit plus either Annual or Day Membership
Membership
Membership is £14 for the year, alternatively, a Day Membership of £1 per visit is charged, under 16's Membership is free.
